I know what’s on my Christmas list. I’ve been watching all of these cool robot vacuums and mops hit the market and I want one. With incredible functions like app scheduling and self cleaning hubs, you don’t have to remember to start it or to clean it! Robot vacuums have come a long way from the first iterations twenty years ago. With one of these, you can let your robot vacuum and mop while you sleep, waking up to cleaner floors without lifting a finger. Sign. Me. Up.
I’ve been reading reviews and watching videos to create a short list of the best robot vacuums and mops – for my own purposes more than anything else. But, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned with you here, in case you’d like to clean while you sleep, too.

What are robot vacuums and mops?
These little robot vacuums will roam around your house, adjusting for hard floors or carpet, and then switch to the mop function with ease to give those floors an extra cleaning, all at the touch of a button or on the schedule you’ve set on your app. I’m particularly interested in the ones that have a hub where they also empty and clean themselves, too, because why not? One less thing for me to worry about!
If you got a robot vac awhile back and you’re skeptical, then we’re in the same boat. I got a robot vacuum about ten years ago during the Roomba craze, except I got a knock-off, and the technology really wasn’t there yet. It got stuck everywhere, didn’t grab that much dog hair or smaller debris and would fritz out if it ran into a baseboard or chair leg. Plus, the amount of debris it held was very small and I had to clean it after each room.
But, these little robot cleaners have really evolved into sophisticated and comprehensive floor cleaning solutions. I think I’m ready to jump back into the robot vac and mop game with one of these:

1. Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat Robot Vac & Mop:
Dreame is a major player in the robot vac game. They have tiered levels of models that range in price considerably. I don’t have $1000 or more for this thing (but if I did – I’d get this one here), so I’m looking in the under $5-700 price range. I don’t want to go too low, like I did last time. This one is currently on sale and has a big coupon that takes $250 off. It’s also under $1000, and if you catch a good promotion, you can score it for under $700. 3. Narwal Freo Robot Vacuum & Mop:
This is definitely the vacuum and mop that is the most aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion. I’m so jelly of the people who have these. A newer Freo X was recently released, which you can pay a premium for, but I would be super happy with this one right here. Priced under $1k and usually comes with a great coupon (like right now), you can score the Narwal for $650! Very competitive price for a vac/mop with so many features. Here’s what you can look forward to:

This is another highly rated, feature rich robot vac and mop on my list. I love the look of it – sort of similar to the Narwal. It is also in the $600 range. Here are some of the features:

How To Choose a Vacuum/Mop Robot:
These are the four robot vacuum/mops that I am most excited about, but they are an investment. When I think about the features I am looking for, here are the ones I am prioritizing:
- Self-cleaning: I’m willing to pay a bit more for a self cleaning vacuum mop because that is going to hopefully give me back some time each day – and that’s what I need more than anything right now.
- Rotating mop heads: Some of them have a mop piece that just gets pushed around, but I want the spinning mop pads that are really going to get the floors clean.
- Heated mopping: Hot water is going to help with killing bacteria and dissolving any stubborn dirt.
- Higher suction power: The stronger suction, the more effective the vacuum will be
- Great reviews and great warranty: Reviews are always going to give the real real and better warranties usually equal a higher quality product
