I recently shared a really fun unboxing of two different Japanese snack boxes. My kids had so much fun trying all the new treats and so when I heard about YumeTwins, the #1 Kawaii subscription box, I was all in. YumeTwins sends a collection of Japanese plushies, homegoods, toys and more in their monthly box. Once we spotted the colorful box on our doorstep, we couldn’t wait to dive in and see what goodies in had in store for us.
So, if you love Kawaii, or know someone who does, let’s dive in and I’ll show you everything that was in our YumeTwins box.
YumeTwins Unboxing:
Each YumeTwins box includes 5-7 seasonal and limited edition Kawaii items. Boxes are packed in Tokyo and shipped right to your door. Based on the subscription you choose, box prices start at $32.50, which is reasonable for how much you get! Items can include original plushies, stationary, Japanese character items, YumeTwins exclusives, lifestyle and homegoods, and a 16+ page culture guide, which was so colorful and fun.
Quick look, here’s what came in our box! We received this fun shaped hand towel, a plushie, a character case with stickers, a fuzzy headband, and a little character keychain. I’ll admit we aren’t familiar with what the characters are from, but that didn’t stop the box from being a total delight to open.
*We received this box for free in exchange for a review. If you choose to purchase a box through my link, I may receive a commission at no cost to you.
Let’s take a closer look at a few of the items that were the biggest hit. Everything in the box was so colorful and fun and the little price packs were exciting to open.
1. Original Plushie:
This adorable little plushie was such a hit. It’s soft and cute and the perfect size for holding and snuggling. It’s been tossed around like a hot potato quite a bit, too. With the heat wave outside, the kids are coming up with all sorts of games inside.
2. Character Keychain:
This little keychain is so unique. It was in one of the little price packs and the kids raced to open them and see what was inside.
3. Character Headband:
This headband is so soft. The wide, elastic sides are big enough to cover the entire ear area and a good amount of hair and the fabric is extremely soft. The bow and character on top are really cute, too. It would make a perfect headband for washing your face, or just keeping your hair out of your face. It fits both my daughter and myself, so it stretches quite a bit.

Overall, we loved opening YumeTwins. If you are interested in Kawaii or Japanese items, you might love it, too. It would also make a great, creative gift for a Kawaii lover. Feel free to learn more about YumeTwins here.
