I’ve been on the hunt for an outdoor rug that will actually last. The last one I bought didn’t hold up to the rainy season last year – and I’m in California where it’s a fairly mild winter. This blue herringbone indoor/outdoor rug is definitely calling my name. I love it in the navy color, too.
Annie Sielke has an incredible rug collection. Not only are there lots of sizes and colors available, but you can also have custom rug sizes cut. If you’ve ever shopped for an odd sized room, you know how frustrating it can be to find something that works. And while an indoor/outdoor rug like this for under a thousand dollars for an 8×10 is certainly not expensive when it comes to rugs, I also found this similar looking rug that would be a great alternative. There are differences, but you can see that they have a similar vibe. Let’s take a closer look!
Shop The Look: Annie Sielke Herringbone Rug
Annie Sielke Herringbone Rug – – $898 for an 8×10
This one is available in 11 sizes and can have custom cuts made. There are 9 beautiful colors to choose from, including navy. It’s 100% polypropylene and is ultra-durable, water-resistant, and UV-treated construction – ideal for outdoor use. Rugs are handmade and sustainably sourced. And, the best part for me, they are hoseable and fast-drying, perfect for uncovered decks, poolside patios, and indoors too! Currently on sale with code GUEST20, which brings the price down to $718.40!
RugsUSA Herringbone Rug – $245 for an 8×10
This similar style is available in 9 sizes and 2 colors – navy and grey. It’s eco-friendly, handmade, high traffic, and pet-friendly. Made from 100% cotton, this one will be a bit softer underfoot. This one can be spot-cleaned, but I don’t know if it’ll hold up to the outdoor elements as well. For an indoor rug, though, it would be a great alternative. And, it’s currently 20% off.
