I am seeing more and more parents choosing one-syllable baby names for their new bundles of joy. I get the allure; short names have a cool, crisp sophistication that makes them easy to love. Plus, if you’re not a huge fan of choosing a baby name with a nickname, the short name trend might be the right one for you.
And, while there are always going to be the trendy, short names that people flock to for a few years and then move on to the next trend, there are also those classic, vintage names that have a timeless charm.
So, whether you want something modern or a name that will stand the test of time, there’s a short, one-syllable girl name fit for you. Broken into categories by style, cruise through the whole list or just skip to the one that speaks to you. Keep track of your faves on the free baby name tracker here.
